This story just got nominated for a NY Emmy Award!
I'm up against stories about Alvin Alley (WABC), Steely Dan (MSG), glass makers in Weaton (NJN), arts in the Hudson Valley (WPIX), and a SundayArts special (Thirteen/WNET).
I probably don't have a shot at beating Steely Dan... anything about them usually wins nowadays. But hey I'm officially an "Emmy nominated producer" ... that's cool.
